Centrifugal Compressor Structure
A centrifugal compressor is a type of dynamic compressor that uses the principle of centrifugal force to compress gases. It consists of several key components that work together to achieve compression.
The operation of a centrifugal compressor involves the conversion of kinetic energy gained from the impeller into potential energy (pressure) as the gas passes through the diffuser and volute casing. The design and configuration of these components can vary depending on the specific application and the requirements of the system. Centrifugal compressors are commonly used in various industries, including HVAC systems, natural gas processing, petrochemical plants, and refrigeration systems.
Extra long life gear system
A complete set of high-standard processes from blanks, machining, heat treatment to precision grinding and testing. The quality complies with US aviation-grade standards. The gear accuracy reaches AGMA13 level, ensuring efficient and reliable gear meshing and transmission, as well as excellent interchangeability.
Air and oil seal
Depending on the working conditions, labyrinth air seals and oil seals, or carbon ring air seals are used to minimize gas loss and ensure that the compressed air is 100% oil-free under any working conditions and meets ISO Class 0 standards.
Integral casting gearbox
The gearbox can be integrally cast and processed with all levels of coolers. Compared with the split type, it has the advantages of stable and reliable main structure, less processing surface, no assembly errors and deformation of crucible shells and gearbox coolers at all levels, and low noise and vibration.
High performance impeller
The impeller is made of titanium alloy or stainless steel to ensure the lightness and reliability of the impeller; the powerful design capabilities of the Sollant R&D team and the rich impeller database design software ensure the superiority of the aerodynamic design; the overall processing is done by a dedicated five-axis machine tool, in accordance with the aviation Grade processing standards ensure the accuracy of impeller processing and overall strength.
Diffuser
The diffuser adopts CFD pneumatic design to ensure the aerodynamic efficiency of the unit. It fully considers the customer’s operating conditions and is integrally milled with high-reliability materials.
Cooler
It uses a modular large-capacity tube-type design, the shell adopts a professional anti-corrosion design, and the tube and shell fins are conducive to improving heat exchange efficiency. We can provide customers with coolers made of different materials such as copper and stainless steel.
